Convenience Store’s Sarah Britton has laid her hands on a highly sought after Cadbury Twirl Caramel. Mondelez International has been working hard to ensure that the limited edition product will be in high demand when it launches next month, with a highly secretive marketing campaign. The firm hid adverts in a series of unusual places, including posters at the side of the River Thames that are only visible at low tide as well as billboards on a remote island off the coast of North Wales with a population of just two people! The #ControlTwirlHype hashtag has been used to further up the ante of this limited edition product, which is due to launch next month. Sarah talks about the campaign and how it might impact sales.
