A price-marked packs (PMP) trial led by Yazoo has delivered an average 89% sales uplift across three independent c-stores.
The trial, carried out at Broadway Convenience Store in Edinburgh, St John’s Budgens in Kenilworth and Tenby Stores and Post Office in Tenby, focused on improved displays, clearer pricing and increasing the availability of Yazoo PMP milk drinks.
Yazoo’s parent company Friesland Campina said the results found that combining PMPs with effective in-store merchandising can drive sales growth in the chilled milk drinks category.
All three stores already stocked Yazoo products and, as part of the trial, received POS materials and merchandising advice.
Yazoo Strawberry PMP was the best-selling SKU across all three stores during the trial period.
