The original Bacardí & Coca‑Cola RTD debuted in April 2025

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has extended its Bacardí & Coca-Cola ready-to-drink cocktail with a spiced rum variant.

Bacardí & Coca-Cola Spiced (5% abv) has launched in a 250ml sleek can format (rsp: £2.30). It offered “hints of vanilla” from Bacardí Spiced rum mixed with Coca-Cola, according to CCEP.

It joins original Bacardí & Coca‑Cola RTD, which made is debut in April 2025, and has since generated £1.65m in value sales, CCEP said, citing NIQ data.

The NPD will be supported by a ‘Bring the Party Home’ on‑pack promotion, running for 12 weeks from 7 April.

Packs will feature scannable QR codes offering shoppers the chance to win prizes such as a Bluetooth turntables, speakers and headphones.

“Rum-based RTDs are one of the biggest untapped opportunities within alcohol right now,” said Elaine Maher, associate director for alcohol ready-to-drink at CCEP GB.

“With flavour remaining the single biggest factor influencing how shoppers choose alcohol RTDs, this smooth, balanced and easy-to-drink serve is perfectly placed to recruit flavour-curious shoppers.

“To fully unlock the opportunity, we’d recommend positioning the variant in high-footfall areas and alongside complementary alcohol categories to drive impulse, ensuring it is perfectly placed to deliver incremental sales as we head into the key summer trading period.”
