Bridor is launching a new Nordic loaf, inspired by the traditional dark rye breads of Northern Europe.
Available to convenience stores now with an rrp of £1.50, the new product is made using a recipe of buckwheat flour, rye flour, malted wheat and malted barley.
The 330g loaf is designed to meet consumer demand for ‘better for you’ breads and is topped with white sesame, poppy and yellow flax seeds.
Supplied to retailers frozen, the Nordic Loaf requires defrosting for up to 10 minutes before being heated at 200°C for 11-13 minutes. The new product can also be delivered to stores in boxes of 26 units and pallets of 32 boxes.
