Ernest & Julio Gallo has launched a Chilean wine brand.
The range is called Chilcaya and is expected to drive growth in the Chilean wine category, according to the makers. The range has three tiers. Popular comprises cabernet sauvignon, merlot, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc (rrp £5.49) while Premium Reserva includes cabernet sauvignon, merlot and chardonnay (rrp £6.99).
A Super Premium Reserva Especial will be launched later in the year with a rrp of £9.99. This will include cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay.
