Vinod Morjaria was pleased as Punch when Camelot upgraded him from scratchcards to the full monty after 10 years.

Then his neighbouring post office complained to their common landlord, Welwyn Garden City Council, which has now told Vinod that he cannot have a terminal because there is no mention of it in the lease.

It may surprise his council to know that precisely because it is not mentioned (as a restriction) in his lease that he has the law on his side.

Hopefully, the letter I have written to him, along with Camelot’s backing and the backing of his group (Londis) and the petition he intends to run will all help to persuade the council.
