Aryzta Food Solutions has announced it is launching a new Easter bakery range for its Otis product portfolio.

Available from selected independent retailers, the Easter range is designed to encourage retailers to drive profits from their in-store bakeries.

One of three new products, Otis Lemon & White Chocolate Flowerpot Muffin (rrp £1.75 ) is sold in cases of 24, while the new Otis Lemon Meringue Pie Doughnut and Lemon & Lime Doughnut (rrp £1) are both available in cases of 36.

Independent retailers also have access to new POS kits, including A3 posters, shelf wobblers and SELs, to promote multi-buy Easter offers in their stores.

Paul Whitely, head of UK marketing at Aryzta Food Solutions, said: “Research shows that 42% of in-store bakery shoppers buy due to ‘temptation’ (HIM! CTP 2017), with sweet treat products such as cookies, muffins and doughnuts enabling retailers to increase their basket spend.

“Easter is a key period for shoppers looking to pick up a treat on-the-go and with these new additions from Otis, retailers can look forward to profit margins of up to 43% this spring.”
