Leerdammer is to launch a product which it says taps into the British enthusiasm for cheese based snacks such as toasted cheese sandwiches.

Toastie are thicker slices of cheese which are made with a thicker, creamier recipe for better melting. The launch, in May, will be backed by an on-pack promotion offering a money back guarantee with TV promised later in the year.
