Todholm Nursery kids with their selection boxes

KeyStore retailers have donated Cadbury selection boxes to local children’s nurseries thanks to the generous support from Mondelēz.

The convenience retailer’s Christmas Selection Boxes campaign has been running for several years, with more customers getting involved each year.

The campaign encourages KeyStore retailers to support nurseries in their communities by donating selection boxes. This year, Mondelēz kindly supplied the selection boxes for retailers to distribute.

“We’ve been running our Christmas Selection Boxes campaign for a few years now and it’s great that even more of our customers are supporting it,” said Craig Brown, chief sales and marketing officer at KeyStore.

“We are grateful to our supplier Mondelēz for once again getting behind this campaign and supplying all the Cadbury’s selection boxes.”

Edith Smyth, owner of KeyStore Lochfield in Paisley, was among the first to get involved by handing over the treats to Todholm Nursery.

Edith, who co-owns the store with Avril Cole, is a “prolific supporter of local charities and good causes”, said KeyStore.

“Todholm Nursery is just along the road from the store and it’s great to see big smiles on little faces at such an exciting time of year for these young children. Many of them come into the store with their parents so we know them and want them to have an amazing Christmas,” said Edith.

“This is a great festive campaign from KeyStore and we’re more than happy to support it – it’s good for business as well as the nursery and kids who receive a selection box, particularly as nurseries do not receive the same financial support as primary and secondary schools,” added Edith.

Brown added: “As Edith explains, it’s another string to a KeyStore retailer’s bow when it comes to supporting local good causes and placing your store at the very heart of your community. Getting behind a campaign like this helps build long-term customer loyalty and reaps rewards for your business in terms of additional sales and footfall.”
