Meet and Deep News, Twickenham
The warm-hearted family behind Meet and Deep News are back again spreading joy and cheer with their annual Christmas Day drop-in.
Spar Motherwell Road, Bellshill
Spar Motherwell Road is stepping up this Christmas by distributing free food packages to residents in need.
The store “wants to make sure no one in its community goes without a meal this Christmas” and plans to deliver the food packages on 22 December.
Corseford Keystore, Johnstone
In Johnstone, generous retailer Chris Watson donated 500 products to a local food bank.
“Helping out where we can at this time of year is just what we do. Every little helps,” Chris wrote in a Facebook post.
Londis Solo Convenience, Glasgow
The thoughtful team at Londis Solo Convenience have put up a Christmas tree decorated with tags from Scottish charity Be Someone’s Santa.
Shoppers can choose a tag from the tree and then return to the store with a gift appropriate for what the tag specifies.
The store has set aside a spot for all the gift donations, then someone from the team delivers the presents to the charity’s drop off point.
