Police in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, have charged a man with murder after a fatal stabbing at a Premier convenience store last week.
Michael Steven Long, aged 35, appeared in Manchester Magistrates’ Court last Friday (August 17) to face charges.
The victim Keith Harris, aged 43, from Whitefield, died in hospital after being stabbed at the Redbank Convenience Store on Ainsworth Road. He is understood not to be a member of staff. Police were called to the scene shortly before 7.30am on August 15.
Long also faced charges for attempted murder of a man in his 50s, possession of an offensive weapon and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
A collision with a number of cars on Ainsworth Road took place shortly before the stabbing at the Premier c-store. Two women, aged 29 and 30, were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but have been bailed pending further enquiries.
