It says the label, developed by the Carbon Trust, will enable consumers to make a purchasing choice based on the product's environmental impact.
Walkers is the first major food brand to show the new carbon logo. It will first feature on the front of its best-selling cheese & onion flavour from mid-April.
In order to qualify for a label, companies must show their commitment to managing and reducing their carbon emissions and complete a carbon analysis of their product supply chain.
As part of the move, Walkers has also committed to reduce its energy and water use per pack by 3% and 5% respectively year on year.
