New health food brand Boostball has launched a range of natural protein balls made from just seven natural ingredients.

The six-strong range (RRP £1.79) – which includes two vegan variants – targets on the go, health-conscious consumers looking for a natural, satisfying snack with high protein content.

The six variants are: chocolate orange mud cake, coconut fudge cake, peanut butter cookie dough, raw chocolate brownie, mint chocolate chip and maple & cinnamon roll.

The brand, co founded by Dan Chambers and nutritional coach Steve Bessant, was conceived with the strap line of ‘less ingredients, more protein’ at its heart and comes at a time when consumers are increasingly looking to incorporate more protein into their diets.

Dan Chambers said: “When we set out to change the world with Boostball, we wanted to make sure we kept to our idea of ‘Less Ingredients, More Protein’, but we also wanted to make sure the ingredients we used were natural, healthy and beneficial to our bodies. Our balls are high in protein, which serves as building blocks for muscle growth, and they contain only natural sugars found in fruits and plants, making them a perfect nutritious snack, post-workout protein replenishment or as an energy booster during exercise.

“Our balls are also a rich source of a wide variety of vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, B, E, B12, Calcium, Iron and Zinc.”
