A thoroughly fed-up Alan Davies called from The Corner Store at Morriston in Swansea to ask who owns the magazines you pay your wholesaler for, even if they are titles you don't want.

He occasionally misses the deadlines for sending back unwanted box-outs. Menzies' paperwork advises "Credit may be refused if returns are not ready for pick up on a specific date". When he does miss the odd deadline and rings his wholesaler to ask for the magazines back so he can try dropping the price, he is told they have been shredded. "It's my property," he points out. "Don't I legally own it?"

I wouldn't mind a view or two on this one.
