Walkers is introducing new Fusions to its Oven Baked range to provide a light and crispy potato snack.

The range offers the recognisable oven baked taste in three flavours: Thai Chilli & Lime, Spicy Tomato & Herbs and Cheddar & Red Pepper. All are available in multipacks (six x 22g, rrp £1.80) with the latter two also available in a single serve format (rrp £0.70 per 35g).

Targeting shoppers looking for alternative snack choices that deliver a double taste sensation, the oven baked crisps contain 50% less fat than standard potato crisps thanks to the method of cooking. The Fusions line-up offers topical seasoning and more unusual flavour combinations with herbs and spices baked into the crisp. Oven Baked Fusions have been created to appeal to a new audience as well as existing fans and performed impressively in consumer testing as a strong, extremely tasty concept with attention grabbing packaging.

The range will be supported by TV advertising during July and August.
