Tennent’s Lager has refreshed its packaging in an effort to reinforce its status as a ‘modern icon’.

The new packs feature an image of a chilled pint as well as phrases related to the summer of sport, such as ‘Armchair Athlete’ and ‘Extra Time’. There will also be Scotland-only packs with Scottish-specific phrases featured on the shrinkwrapping.

The rebrand will be supported by a media campaign and an on-pack promotion from now to October, giving consumers the chance to win a limited- edition T-shirt.
