PFIZER CONSUMER HEALTH PRODUCTS has introduced Nicorette freshmint gum in a handy pack, targeted at smokers who wish to quit ahead of the forthcoming smoking-in-public-places ban.
Pfizer reckons the packs, which are a similar price to cigarettes, will be an impulse purchase from outlets where smokers have previously bought cigarettes and therefore supplement sales lost to the smoking ban.
The average person giving up smoking spends around £64 a year on nicotine replacement therapy products.
