Croissant brand 7 Days has announced it is to launch a collaboration with cookie icon Oreo
The collaborative croissant is the first UK NPD for 7 Days since Mondelēz International acquired the business in 2021. It introduces a “distinctive proposition within the bakery snacking category,” offering retailers a clear point of difference on shelf.
The bold, co-branded pack design reinforces the product’s quality credentials and is designed to capture the attention of shoppers when perusing a busy fixture, Mondelēz said.
The recipe blends the soft, airy dough of a classic 7 Days croissant with a dual-texture filling that delivers the distinctive taste of Oreo cream and cookie pieces. This combination has been carefully developed to appeal to both existing 7 Days shoppers and loyal Oreo fans looking for something different.
The 7 Days Oreo Croissant is expected to meet “the consumer demand for trusted brands that offer a fresh twist” and will sit alongside the current range of 7 Days Cocoa and Cocoa & Vanilla.
