Oreo has announced its Night Twist, an on-pack competition offering consumers the chance to win up to £5k to spend on their own “ultimate evening experience.”
In addition, there are hundreds of ‘after hours’ prizes, and to add to the excitement the brand has created a custom-designed game that will enter shoppers into the competition. The aim is to keep the virtual neon cookie shining brightly, with bonus cookies for points, all while avoiding spilt milk that could signal game over.
All scores - no matter the size - are entered into the draw and the grand prize winner will win a budget of £5,000 to put towards their ultimate evening experience.
Launching this month across a range of pack formats - including both the Original 154g pricemarked packs (PMP) and non-PMPs, the Twin Pack (2x154g) and the 132g Lunchbox - all consumers need to do to enter is scan their QR codes and add in details from their purchase before being taken to the game.
The promotion’s after-hours prize pool helps people to enjoy more of their evening. The additional prizes include Fever Tree vouchers, Vue and Cineworld vouchers, Netflix and Disney+ subscriptions, Spotify subscriptions, Xbox Series X and PS5 games consoles, portable Bluetooth speakers, Airpods Max headphones, night out packages, cameras and much more.
For the grand prize the winner can choose between putting the prize towards night out experiences or setting up their own evening at home as part of their Night In & Night Out bundle prize.
The launch will be supported by OOH, social and in-store activations, including exciting POS materials to make it unmissable.
Sophia Burger, Oreo brand manager at supplier Mondelēz International, said: “We’re so excited to be launching Oreo Night Twist, helping consumers to look forward to their evenings with us. The game is a super fun way for consumers to enter.
“With lots of different exciting elements, the chance to win the ultimate evening experience and hundreds of after-hours prizes to twist up the night, we can’t wait for consumers to give Oreo Night Twist a try.”
