Dr Pepper has launched a limited-edition variant.
Dr Pepper Cream Swirl will be available until February 2027 in 330ml cans (RRP: £1.05), 500ml and 2L bottles, as well as 8x330ml multipacks.
The dairy-free and HFSS-compliant drink was designed to help retailers tap into the “growing demand for bold, limited-edition flavours”, said brand owner Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP).
The launch will be supported by a marketing campaign including an on-pack promotion offering shoppers the chance to win prizes via a scannable QR code.
Activity will also include competitions across TikTok and Snapchat, along with sampling via a ‘Dr Pepper Cream Swirl Float’ experience.
Cream Swirl follows the introduction of Dr Pepper Cherry Crush Zero Sugar as a limited-edition last year. The cherry vairant has delivered 38% of total brand growth, said CCEP, citing NIQ data. It has now been made a permanent line.
“We’re really excited for fans to try the new Cream Swirl flavour, building on the huge success of the limited-edition Dr Pepper Cherry Crush Zero Sugar last year,” said Rob Yeomans, vice-president of commercial development at CCEP GB.
“Limited editions are a great way to drive excitement, spark conversation and bring new shoppers into the brand – all while helping our customers boost their soft drink sales.
“The supporting campaign is packed with the personality that Dr Pepper always brings – with eye-catching POS and digital assets via My.CCEP.com, we can’t wait to see how retailers get behind it and activate in store.”
