Spanish foods importer Mevalco has introduced Smoked Butter by Rooftop Smokehouse to its retail range, available now to c-stores via wholesalers nationwide.
The distinctive product is designed to “add theatre, provenance and premium appeal to the butter fixture,” it said, and has been rafted using traditional smoking techniques.
The butter is slowly infused with carefully selected wood smoke, creating a refined balance of creaminess and gentle warmth.
At a time when consumers are trading up in everyday categories, flavoured and speciality butters are gaining momentum as shoppers seek simple ways to elevate home cooking. Smoked Butter offers a compelling point of difference - delivering restaurant-level flavour in an accessible, everyday format.
David Menéndez, managing director of Mevalco, said: “Consumers are increasingly looking for small, premium touches that transform everyday dishes. Smoked butter offers retailers a simple way to introduce something distinctive into the category - artisan, versatile and full of character.”
The new butter is available in 200g formats and comes wrapped in wax paper.
