Londis has rewarded a new retailer with a £50,000 store development fund as part of its ‘Bring a Friend’ recruitment campaign.
Retailer Ben Patel, owner of Londis on Monkton Road in Ramsgate, nominated Ashish and Haresh Patel - who have run an independent convenience store in Margate Kent for five years - to join the symbol group.
Ben won a holiday worth up to £10,000 for inviting Ashish and Haresh Patel to join Londis.
Haresh Patel said: “We were really excited to win the competition and thanks to Ben for nominating us. We are now planning our store development and really looking forward to beginning the refit.”
John Pattison, Londis brand director said: “We’re serious about supporting current and future Londis retailers to grow their businesses locally, which is why this kind of investment in store development is important to us. The Bring a Friend campaign has been a great success, by engaging current retailers in our recruitment plans we have created some fantastic ambassadors for the brand.”
