Independent retailers will be offered financial incentives to join Nisa on 4 July, to mark the group’s support for Independents’ Day UK.
In support of the national campaign on Thursday 4 July, independent retailers who sign up to Nisa within 14 days and start trading after 28 days will have their joining fee waivered, as well as the added incentive of £2,000.
Current Nisa partners who have additional stores with other groups will also be offered the £2,000 incentive to move across to Nisa.
Nisa sales director Steve Leach said: “Nisa’s retail strategy is to deliver benefits for independent retailers and help them grow their businesses in what is an increasingly competitive marketplace and so we are keen to be proactive in our support of Independents’ Day UK.

We hope to convince even more independent retailers to join us as a result of our activity around Independents’ Day and benefit from the broad range of services we provide. Nisa is the natural home for independent retailers and we have ramped up our operational capacity to ensure new stores have the support they need to join Nisa as quickly and smoothly as possible.”
Independents’ Day UK is a not-for-profit campaign that supports and promotes independent retail businesses across the UK all year round, but with a focus on 4 July.
