Costcutter is launching a new internet resource for retailers where they can view their invoice history, benchmark their sales and download information about legislation and store operations.
Called My Costcutter, the service has been trialled with seven stores and is due to be rolled out to the entire group from the end of this month.
As well as enabling electronic invoicing, each retailer can personalise the internet portal with key contact numbers (such as the area manager) and important diary dates.
To sign up for My Costcutter, retailers have to agree to disclose their epos sales data to the group’s head office. In return they receive a benchmarked analysis of their sales and prices compared to other Costcutter stores in the same TV region, to show where extra sales could be gained or margins can be improved.
