Honestly, this is a waste of time. It's all about cutting the middle man out (Unitas in this case) and dealing directly with their members as they are responsible for paying the final bill to supplier.

If a buying group is negotiating for its members than they should also be able to commit to volume and move the stock themselves to the members. The buying group should also pay the invoices directly to supplier.

Creating this group just means that the members are not capable of running their own business and need a middleman to negoaitate for them. Come on members you are good at what you do and listen to supplier who will guide you in the right direction.

You really don't need this middleman as all it will do is increase your pricing and not make you comprtive vs the national
Wholesaler who are working net net with supplier and have come into the 20th century!!
