Walkers crisps has launched its biggest ever on pack lunch promotion, offering 1 in 6 shoppers the chance to win a free lunch on Walkers up to the value of £4.

The promotion kicked off on April 12 and is running until July 11 2015. It is supported by TV, digital and in-store shopper marketing materials.

Walkers has partnered with coupon and voucher services provider, Valassis, allowing consumers to redeem their free lunch in thousands of participating stores nationwide. Stores include major grocery multiples, independent retailers, popular high street sandwich chains and forecourts.

Promotional packs of Walkers crisps include a ‘1 in 6 wins a free lunch’ on-pack flash and a unique 12 digit code. Consumers then need to enter the code on the Walkers website - www.walkers.co.uk/lunch  - or text 85101 (UK) or 50888 (ROI) to find out if they are one of the lucky winners.

Matt Goddard, field sales director at PepsiCo, said: “We urge retailers who are not yet involved in the campaign to sign up to avoid missing out on this huge opportunity, and will be launching a host of in store materials to support the promotion, including stackers and chiller baskets.”
