PG Tips has relaunched its Premium tea range to feature a new pack design.
Rolling out now, PG Tips The Rich One has become PG Tips Gold; PG Tips The Strong One boasts a new improved recipe and is named PG Tips Extra Strong to communicate its bold flavour; while PG Tips The Fresh one is now called PG Tips Fresh. All variants of the premium range are available in packs of 160 tea bags with an rrp of £2.99 and £5.49 respectively.
The PG Tips packaging has also been revamped, now featuring a distinct colour, the PG Tips logo, the lips of tea leaves and the brands iconic Pyramid bag.
The relaunch is also supported by a multimedia campaign, using the strapline, ‘Find the tea that’s right for you’.
Alice Small, brand manager for PG Tips at Unilever UK, said: “We know that consumer tastes differ when it comes to the perfect cup of tea. Our Premium tea range caters for this, and presents an opportunity for retailers to drive category growth by stocking up and inspiring consumers to pay a little bit more for that extra special cuppa.”
