Jake & Nayns’ has today announced that the brands’ Naansters will receive a new and improved recipe across its three existing lines and will also be adding a vegetarian option to its repertoire – Chickpea Curry.
The hand-held, naan bread filled with authentic curries have been redesigned so they can be eaten straight from the fridge and enjoyed cold.
The range also now includes more than double the amount of chicken – which is all 100% British.
New Chickpea Curry is a light fluffy naan bread filled with delicious chickpeas and cauliflower in a tikka sauce, pilau rice and mango chutney
Naansters boast a no ‘red traffic light’ nutritional policy, meaning each 185g serving falls within the recommended daily intake of fat, saturates, sugar and salt.
Jake Karia, managing director for food attractions, said: “Our ambition is to bring world cuisine ready-meal flavours to the on-the-go category by offering a more healthy, tasty and convenient option to what’s already on the market.
“And with our improved recipe that contains over double the amount of 100% British chicken and with our innovative handcrafted production technique, Naansters can be enjoyed absolutely anywhere – hot or cold. We are also delighted with the newly launched Chickpea Curry which we hope will open up the ‘on-the-go’ doors to many more people.”
