C-Store publisher William Reed has acquired the trademark Pro-Retail from the Palmer & Harvey (P&H) administrators for an undisclosed sum.

Pro-Retail was the trade show previously owned by P&H, which went into administration just before Christmas. The show offered retailers the chance to meet face to face with manufacturers and gain valuable insight into running their businesses.

Andrew Reed, a divisional managing director at William Reed, said: “Pro-Retail is a recognised brand within the convenience and forecourt sectors and this purchase enables us to grow our market leading position for independent trade shows.”

William Reed organises the National Convenience Show and Farm Shop & Deli Show, and also publishes The Grocer and Forecourt Trader among other titles.
