After the storm of publicity following its appearance on ITV1’s Jonathan Ross Show, the hit bacon jam is being joined by new variants.

The team behind bacon jam, Eat 17 at Spar Walthamstow in London, released a chilli variant late last year and co-owner James Brundle said new chorizo and onion variants would be launched to the market within the next three months.

“Chilli bacon jam was launched through independent stores and it’s got off to a great start already,” said James.

“It’s been really busy for us since the launch of bacon jam and the orders haven’t stopped. We are very confident that the chorizo variant will really catch people’s attention,” he said.

Launched this time last year, bacon jam is now stocked in 240 independent stores with more than 4,000 jars produced weekly.
