Mohammad and Farhana Saleem have opened their second Café Nisa as part of a new Nisa Local store in Greenwich, East London.
The store is just under 3,000sq ft and houses the café concept that offers shoppers food to go. Their first store in Isleworth, West London, also features a Café Nisa. It opened in April 2004.
Mohammad said: "The opening went really well and we're expecting sales to go from strength to strength. Café Nisa creates great ambience. When we opened the first Café Nisa in Isleworth, we wanted to create something different. The overall package is brilliant."
Mohammad and Farhana were joined by Nisa-Today's symbol group development director John Heagney and Nisa-Today's president Dudley Ramsden for the official launch. Heagney commented: "The Saleems are forward-thinking retailers who were keen to take on another project after the success of their store in Isleworth. It has been regarded as a flagship development and we are sure the Greenwich store will be equally successful."
