The Co-operative has launched a new fully branded ‘pop up’ shop to help stores maintain service and sales during its refurbishment programme.

The new kiosk will make its debut at the Co-operative’s Cropwell Bishop store in Nottinghamshire which is set to close for a week of refurbishment works this month.

At four metres long by just over two wide the kiosk will stock 120 of The Co-operative’s most popular products including bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables, sandwiches and tobacco.

The Co-operative plans to refit and refurbish 340 stores this year.
