Donna Weragama had a devil of a time trying to get her money back from PayPoint. PP required a £2K deposit in 2013 when she had the service installed at her Premier Upland Drive Store in Plymouth.
She says she cancelled the service when she thought the contract was up, but PP apparently told her she had been automatically rolled over. She kicked up a fuss and so they took the terminal away last October. They said she would get her money back in May 2018, but when she called to ask where it was they said they had no documentation.
She sent them a copy. Twice. “But now,” she says, “I can’t get through to anyone on the phone and they don’t answer emails.”
I contacted the company and it was looked into. Donna got her money back in no time.
