
Breakfast biscuit brand Belvita’s recent consumer promotion, Win a trip to the Most Positive Place on The Planet, offered retailers the opportunity to win a positive experience for their store and staff.
Now, the winner as been announced. The lucky entrant was Mahadevan Ramesh (above) of Johnson’s Convenience Store, Ipswich.
Retailers who entered the competition via Mondelēz International’s retailer-facing website - snackdisplay.co.uk - had the chance to win up to £750 of Amazon vouchers for staff as well as £200 of Belvita stock. To complete the prize, an in-store sampling event was held to deliver an impactful and positive experience for the winning retailer.
In June, Mahadevan was visited by his local Mondelēz representative to hold the sampling day, which was a huge success. The Mondelēz International representative assisted Ramesh with merchandising to maximise the sales opportunity.
Mahadevan said: “I was shocked to win and it was a fantastic feeling to receive that call from my local Mondelēz rep. It’s so wonderful to be able to share this win with my staff too, and I’d absolutely recommend every retailer gets involved with these competitions.”
