Southern Co-op is offering a number of grants to local groups and good causes through its Foundation Community Award Scheme.
A total of 18 grants of £250 each will be made available to organisations this year. To be eligible for a grant, the groups must demonstrate that they have used co-operation or mutuality to enhance life in their local communities.
Previous recipients have included childcare organisations, groups for people with disabilities and emergency response teams.
Shortlists of applicants will be chosen by Southern Co-op members and final selections made by Foundation Trustees.
