Ferrero announced a product recall of selected batches of Kinder Surprise eggs on April 2nd due to concerns over salmonella contamination, but the recall has now been updated as a precautionary measure as further products may be affected. The updated recall includes more Kinder Surprise egg best before dates, as well as the addition of Kinder Mini Eggs and the Kinder Egg Hunt Kit.

20g - Best Before Dates up to and including 7th October 2022
20g x 3 - Best Before Dates up to and including 7th October 2022
100g - Best Before Dates between 20th April 2022 and 21st August 2022
Kinder Mini Eggs
75g - Best Before Dates between 20th April 2022 and 21st August 2022
Kinder Egg Hunt Kit
150g - Best Before Dates between 20th April 2022 and 21st August 2022
Kinder Schokobons
200g - Best Before Dates between 20th April 2022 and 21st August 2022
Point of sale notices must be displayed in stores that are selling these products explaining to customers why the products are being recalled and telling them what to do if they have bought the products. Here is a link to the customer notice
