Unilever is bolstering its Wall’s lineup with a host of new variants, including an impulse-exclusive soft-serve Cornetto variant and Cornetto Go ice cream sandwich, plus a new flavour and shape for Twister.
The firm claims that Wall’s Cornetto Soft will help retailers bring the experience of the traditional ice cream van and soft-serve ice cream into the home. Cornetto Soft Chocolatey (140ml, rrp £1.60) is available exclusively in the impulse channel. The ice cream stays soft even when in the freezer and is topped with chocolate sauce and served in a wafer cone, with a chocolatey flavour tip too. It has a 50% recycled plastic lid.
Multipacks of four are available in Strawberry and Salted Caramel flavours (both rrp £3).
Also exclusive to the impulse channel is Cornetto GO (rrp £.140) - an ice cream sandwich featuring vanilla ice cream with pieces of cocoa cookie wrapped in cocoa biscuits.
Meanwhile, family favourite Twister welcomes a new flavour and shape with Twister Peek-A-Blue (single rrp £1.10; 5-pack rrp £2.79). Made with fruit, Twister Peek-A-Blue contains a mix of melon, strawberry-lemon and apple-blueberry. The new launch joins Unilever’s Responsibly Made for Kids range, with a clear logo on pack to help parents make informed decisions about the nutritional content.

The innovations are included on Wall’s point of sale material (POS), which includes everything from outdoor signage to branded parasols and flags. In line with Unilever’s sustainability plans, all POS is produced from recycled material or produced as recyclable, giving retailers peace of mind that every unit or board is made in a more responsible and sustainable way.
