Dr Oetker has added two spicy flavours to its Ristorante range of frozen pizzas.
The new Piccante range (meaning spicy in Italian) combines Ristorante's thin and crispy base with Britain's love of spicy cuisine.
The two flavours are pepperoni salame piccante (meat) and vegetale piccante (vegetarian).
The meat variety comprises spicy pepperoni with cheese & tomato, topped with red and green jalapeno chillies. Vegetale piccante is a cheese and tomato pizza topped with grilled peppers, red onion and green jalapeno chillies.
Dr Oetker Piccante will be supported with a £1.5m TV ad campaign, due to air this spring.
