Mr Beast Feastables Chocolate Bars

YouTube sensation MrBeast has teamed up with Spar to launch Feastables chocolate bars in the UK convenience sector.

Working with distributor Icon Foods, Spar has been chosen as the MrBeast brand’s exclusive convenience partner for its Feastables range of chocolate bars until January 2024.

The bars will be available from participating Spar stores across the UK from 10th July. The range comprises Original Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Crunch and Deez Nutz flavours and each 60g bar will be priced between £2 and £2.49.

YouTuber MrBeast has racked up an incredible following with 165m subscribers, plus tens of millions of followers on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok. The bars took the US by storm when they launched in January last year, with reported sales of $10m in just five months.

Jo Wrate, head of trading at AF Blakemore, says: “This is another great first for Spar. We have a proven track record of being the best route to market for disruptor brands looking to bring new products to UK convenience shoppers. This partnership reaffirms our ability to launch and deliver innovative new brands and products to consumers.

“In today’s competitive convenience market, it’s more important than ever to differentiate ourselves from our competition. We will continue to look for new products to work with and encourage businesses to speak to us if they are looking for a first-class route to market.”

Ian Lewis of Spar Minster Lovell praises his symbol’s ablity to keep its finger on the pulse. “Jo Wrate has done some fantastic work, she’s on TikTok constantly looking for the next trend,” he says.

Ian believes the bars will follow in the footsteps of Prime as the next mega trend to hit UK c-stores. “I think MrBeast is probably the next big thing,” he says.

Henry Goodchild, Spar UK trading controller, says: “ The entire Spar organisation has worked together to bring this new opportunity to convenience shoppers and our Spar stores are thrilled to have the opportunity to be the first in convenience to supply customers with the range of Feastables chocolate bars.

“We are always looking at interesting new brands to work with and opportunities for differentiation and this partnership is another example of how we are able to find a new and innovative way to stand out from the crowd.”

Derek Rodgers, director and co-founder of Icon Foods Ltd, says: “When looking to distribute MrBeast’s range of Feastables chocolate bars in the UK, Spar was our first choice for convenience. We are really impressed with the symbol groups agility to deliver this launch and looking forward to seeing the results over the coming months.”

The launch of Feastables will be supported in Spar stores with a summer campaign including online activity, POS, social media support, instore radio, and consumer competitions.
