
From October, retailers will be able to get their hands on the latest Red Bull Winter Edition - Fuji Apple & Ginger - available with and without sugar.
Offering a taste that combines one of the world’s most popular apple varieties with the spiciness of earthy ginger, Fuji Apple & Ginger is “a perfect pairing for winter enjoyment, and consumer feedback is positive, describing the taste as zingy, refreshing and giving a boost,” Red Bulls says.
Nearly three quarters of consumers found the flavour profile appealing – more so for younger shoppers under 35. What’s more, with its unique gradient effect that transitions from warm red to yellow, the new packs have clear shelf standout and will encourage trial, Red Bull adds.
The new flavour follows the successful launch of Red Bull’s second ever Winter Edition in 2024, Iced Vanilla Berry, which drove engagement of flavours over winter. The launch was effective in bringing shoppers into stores at a key time, demonstrating the additional sales opportunity presented by limited edition and seasonal products around at Christmas.
The Fuji Apple & Ginger edition is available with and without sugar in single 355ml and 473ml cans, as well as a 4x250ml multipack, and in full sugar 250ml plain and pricemarked cans.
To drive trial, and for a limited time only after launch, Red Bull is also introducing a £1 pricemarked can as a when it’s gone it’s gone format.
