Protein pick-me up maker, The Protein Ball Company will unveil its new positioning and direction, under a proud Ballsy by Nature banner at the end of September.
From that date, the revamped snacks will also be packeaged in FSC friendly, home recyclable pouches
With ambitious new listings in Caffe Nero and WHSmith travel hubs, it says the moment felt ripe to unveil the brand’s bold new stance, covering everything from fresh foodie cues on packs and stripped back recipes, through to “crisp range segmentation and unambiguous messaging,” it says.
The renaissance is helped by the work of designers Robot Food, whose visionary rebranding already extends to Hip Pop, Sarson’s, Badger Beer, Breez CBD Mints and Nutriment.
According to co-founder, Matt Hunt: “We wanted to reinforce our all day ‘grazing’ credentials and sharing potential. Throw in the fact that growing numbers of older snackers are seeking out bite-sized nutrition, it’s clear that we offer something very different from the usual protein bar fodder.
“The business will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary in 2026, so it was imperative we took this opportunity to underpin our health-savvy pledges and category stewardship, whilst paving the way for further ‘game-changing’ range innovation later this year,” Hunt added.
