The Protein Ball company, which produces the treats, has decided to further grow its peanut butter protein-rich treats, It’s The Dog’s – which it says can be enjoyed by humans and pets alike.

To help with this growth mission, this September the brand is unveiling a refreshed identity that underpins the product benefits, and will also be providing a sneak preview of a second nutrient-dense protein ball called Calm & Peaceful due early next year.

Co-founder, Matt Hunt, said: ‘The last nine months have been a rollercoaster of learnings with regards to whether our pioneering reputation within human treats could translate seamlessly within such a highly competitive dog treats fixture. The feedback was a resounding yes.

“There’s the novelty factor around the fact that while out on your walk you and your dog can share the same treat with positive health benefits. But more importantly we’re reaffirming that the business uses the same best-in-class ingredients and small batch, human-grade production across both its brands.”
