Perrier is replacing its 33cl sparkling mineral water cans with a slimmer model, in a bid to engage its style-conscious target audience of 18 to 35-year-olds looking for zero calorie refreshment.

Research suggests that slim cans are the most popular format among consumers and Perrier cites this as a reason for the change.

The new format for the only sparkling mineral water in a can in the UK will be available as a 24 for-the-price-of 22 offer in cash and carries.
