Mint brand Mentos has hosted its ‘Who Says No to Mentos’ campaign with a range of activity from sampling to large-scale branding, across the city of Birmingham.

The activity kicked off with interactive GIF booths in the city centre, where shoppers were invited to create their own short animations of themselves.

These were then shared on social media using #MentosBirmingham, in an aim to cement Mentos’ position as the brand that brings people together.

A selection of the best GIFs were displayed on a large screen in the city.

In addition to this, the residents of Birmingham saw extensive branding across phone boxes in key high street locations, six-sheets and on bus sides.

Mentos brand manager Claire Powley says: “As the UK’s second most populated city, Birmingham was the perfect place to for us to activate our biggest campaign of the year. We wanted to fully engage Birmingham residents by investing in significant branding on platforms such as the Media Eyes, and in doing so we’ve provided thousands with a truly memorable experience. This is a big boost for the brand, and we are confident that we will see more and more customers seeking out Mentos. After all, who says no to Mentos?”
