Soft drinks brand J2O has unveiled three new lines ahead of the summer: J2O Summer Limited Edition Pear & Guava (Summer Shine), J2O Spritz Apple & Elderflower and J2O Spritz cans.
The new products are designed to help retailers capitalise on demand for adult premium carbonates.
The new can format for J2O Spritz will also offer consumers the opportunity to tap into a wider range of socials including the more informal, everyday occasions, the brand said.
Britvic out-of-home commercial director Phil Sanders said: “The variety within our portfolio of J2O blends - currently worth £236m (Nielsen Scantrack) - appeals to a range of different consumers and will assist retailers in attracting and converting less frequent buyers and those entering the market for the first time.
“Our three new products will build on the much loved J2O brand, while enabling a progressively premium approach within the portfolio and supporting retailers with a range of formats to suit all shopper occasions. Our new 250ml slim line J2O Spritz Cans for example are ideal for on the go refreshment, giving customers the perfect amount to take home and enjoy on the move.
“The J2O Summer Limited Edition Pear & Guava variant is another good example and has been designed to be enjoyed while socialising. The product also aims to capitalise on the busy summer season when get-togethers are on the rise.”
The launches will be supported by social media and in-store activations.
J2O Summer Limited Edition Pear & Guava (Summer Shine) and J2O Spritz Apple & Elderflower will be available from February and March respectively, with J2O Spritz launching in a 250ml slimline can format from March 2020.
