A new innovative and sustainable spirit called Freya has been launched.

Foraged from the birch forests of Northern Europe using only sustainable methods.

Harvested once a year during early spring the birch sap is brought to the English Spirit Distillery, in Halstead. Here, pure birch sap is crafted into Freya; a clear spirit with a distinctive clean taste, which is “full of character and smoothness”.

Pure Wild Spirits Ltd. founder Dave Wallwork: “Freya is truly innovative and a distinctive new taste - pure foraged birch sap from icy northern forests distilled into a new wild, full flavoured spirit - the response from mixologists and bartenders has been incredible. “We have an exciting few months ahead introducing Freya to consumers as we start to build this new category.”
