Florette is launching two new salad mixes this Autumn - a new Florette Winter Mix and the new Florette Sandwich Mix (rrp £1)

Following the success of its seasonal Summer Mix, and in response to extensive consumer research, Florette has developed the Winter Mix bag – a selection of colourful and tasty red leaves and vegetables to freshen up winter meals. With consumer demand for a salad combination fit for the colder season, the Florette Winter Mix is the perfect way to help consumers eat well all year round.

Florette is also introducing the Sandwich Mix in response to industry insight which showed that sandwiches account for 30% of salad occasions. Featuring a blend of crunchy, mild and flat salad leaves that are specifically designed to sit well in sandwiches and wraps, the Florette Sandwich Mix offers a convenient solution for healthier, fresher sandwiches.

Each bag includes freshly prepared ingredients, with a focus on quality and convenience. The Winter Mix bag includes ruby chard, baby spinach, red baby lettuce, crunchy grated beetroot and crunchy carrot. The Sandwich Salad Mix bag is a mix of flavours including batavia, green cos and spinach.

Rebecca Walker, brand manager at Florette said: “Our insight found that consumers are looking for new salad options that are fresh, convenient and nutritious all year round – not just during summer and not just as a meal accompaniment. The new Florette Winter Mix and Florette Sandwich Mix have been developed to respond to this consumer demand for different salad occasions.”

“As the winter season approaches, consumers are in need of a seasonal option to replace our successful Summer Mix and brighten up winter meals. At Florette, we only grow where the sun goes, and our Winter Mix bag guarantees fresh, naturally tasting salad, even during the colder months.

“Similarly, we know many of our consumers lead busy lives - our new Sandwich Salad Mix is designed to be hassle-free way to add a delicious fresh flavour to your sandwich.”
