Dark chocolate brand Fatso is packing a punch with bold flavours and “massive chunks”. The brand claims it will “set the record straight that dark chocolate can have just as much fun as milk”.

Available from 21 March, 150g Fatso bars have an rrp of £5.95 and come in three flavours. Morn’n Glory is a 60% cacao breakfast-inspired combination of cornflake, toast and orange marmalade; Home Run 60% cacao bar takes inspiration from the US baseball game with its bumper chunks of salted pretzel, whole almonds and honeycomb; and Nan’s Stash is 70% cacao and is packed with peanuts, toffee and digestive biscuits.

“Us Fatsos are real foodies, and we love dark chocolate, but we’ve always wondered why it takes itself so seriously!” said Fatso head of brand Ella McKay. “So we came up with the idea to create a super chunky, high quality dark chocolate bar, that went all in on its ethics and flavour combinations and wasn’t afraid to have a bit of fun. Fatso is about embracing More: More chunk, more flavour, more ethics, more care, more love. Because we believe that more matters. It’s about bucking the rules, but never the quality.”

Fatso sources its single origin cacao from family-owned Luker’s Farm in Columbia, which has been awarded Fino De Aroma quality credentials, which only 8% of the world’s cocoa growers are awarded.
