AG Barr has announced it is a supporter of The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, which run from 23 July to 3 August.

The drinks company is investing £12m in a multi-brand marketing programme in the run up to the Games, focusing on its four best-selling brands Irn Bru, Strathmore, the Barr brand and Rubicon.

The activity starts in March with ’Cheer We Go’, the biggest-ever on-pack promotion for Irn Bru, which will give consumers the chance to win a range of tickets to the Games.

‘Cheer We Go’ will be backed by a digital media campaign and radio in Scotland, and will feature on 2ltr, 500ml and 330ml packs of regular and sugar-free Irn Bru.
