Londis launches festive social media campaign and competition

Londis has launched its first ever Christmas social media campaign, giving shoppers a chance to win £500 towards their festive shopping.

The campaign will see ‘Elfie,’ the Londis Elf, tour the UK, appearing in secret locations across the country with teasers being issued on the Londis Facebook and Twitter pages across December.

Consumers are encouraged to take a “Selfie with Elfie” and upload it to social media for their chance to win the £500 pre-paid Visa Card prize.

Londis brand director, Martin Swadling, said: “This is a great way to build on our existing social media success by doing something fun to create a buzz and drive footfall into stores at such a key time of year.

“This is the first campaign of its kind in Londis and I’m confident it will prove popular with both retailers and shoppers.”

The campaign will be supported by in-store point of sale to drive awareness.
